Dan Linstead from Wanderlust magazine has an intimate and revealing conversation with BBC travel journalist Simon Reeve. The talk took place at the Earls Court leg of Destinations in the second Meet the Experts Theatre for the Southern hemisphere. Simon Reeve reveals the stories and ideas behind his latest BBC documentary in which he explore the cultures and countries along the Tropic of Capricorn.

His latest book is entitled "Senor Nice: Straight Life from Wales to South America". Steve Keenan, Travel Editor at TimesOnline.com speaks to Howard as a prelude to Destinations Show. Simon reveals to Dan Linstead of Wanderlust magazine, his personal highlights from this 22,835-mile journey through wild and mysterious regions of our planet. Simon Reeve will be appearing in Meet the Experts Theatre 2: Sunday 3rd Feb at 1pm

Ken Hames in conversation with Cath Urquhart - Times Travel Editor

This year one of the faces of the Show the Ken Hames gave a enthralling talk in the Meet The Expert Theatre. Hear him on this exclusive podcast as he talks with Cath Urquhart, The Times Travel Editor. Ken recounts tales of his time in the Special Forces as well as his incredible experiences in the TV series Beyond Boundaries and Mission Africa. The first series saw Ken leading an expedition of disabled people (one of whom was blind), across Nicaragua, from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean in a record breaking 300 km trek starting in the Mosquito Coast and ending one month later as a world first. Whilst in Ken's second project he took a group of young apprentice builders to Kenya to build an eco lodge and game reserve to protect the endangered species that lived there.
