Description:

• Exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join a well established company that specializes in international trade show logistics for their Las Vegas headquarters.

PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE:

To sell to a North American customer base the unique services that this company can provide in moving their freight to, from, and in-between exhibitions. Coordination and sales to international exhibitors and or agents.

SALES:

• Perform the sales duties of an exhibit team.
• Coordinate sales efforts to international exhibitors and agents.
• Conduct the telemarketing effort to secure customer freight shipments for an exhibition.
• Work with support staff in Sales Support to ensure all administrative details for a customer shipment is properly arranged.
• Work with support staff in Operations to ensure customer shipment is properly transported.
• Work with support staff in billing to ensure customer shipment is properly billed.

Responsible for the satisfaction of the exhibition freight customer.

On-Site:

• Arrive on-site on date specified by Industry Manager or Project Manager.
• Check that all freight has been delivered to show site.
• Work with on-site agent, drayage contractors, customs clearance brokers, customs agents and air and ocean freight lines or agents to secure and deliver missing freight.
• Ensure that freight is delivered to exhibitors' booths.
• Ensure that empty crates are safely secured after freight is unpacked.
• Meet with exhibitors during the show, as directed by the Industry Manager or Project Manager.
• At close of exhibition, assist clients by preparing return shipping documents, returning empty crates to stands, and supervising outbound shipment of the freight.
• Act as liaison between exhibitor and drayage contractor.

Will be required to travel to international destinations.

Upon Return from Show:

• Responsible for assisting in preparation of client billing.
• Responsible for assisting in reconciliation of vendor accounts.

Extended travel will be required to support On site at Trade Show.
